A Comedy of Charicatures
One of the dubious honours of regularly eating and drinking in the Eyston Arms, is that you might end up on the wall.... Hanging by a stout nail!
Your caricature captured in pen and ink by a variety of talented artists.
The criteria for joining the great and good on the walls of the Arms is shrouded in mystery and folklore. A piece of pottery recovered from a cave behind the Post office, might offer a clue.
Cryptologists have confirmed the hieroglyphics on the pottery refer to a 'I'm up the Arms’ and appear to speak of a formula for achieving immortality 'on the wall'.
Further translation has revealed that it has more to do with how often you visit our lovely Pub!!
